Direct Seeding
Introduced in 2016, HRI conducts SEEDING operations throughout Ontario and Quebec.
Direct Seeding is a way to maximize trenching's ability to expose soil mineral soil for ideal micro site establishment. Impregnating the seed into the soil trench at a specific density. Works for all soil types and conditions. Ideal for Jack Pine or any other conifer seed.
SEEDING operations are most effective with a light layer of snow on the ground
We operate BRACK Disc Trenchers, both 2-Row and 3-Row applications. We float all our own equipment using company owned equipment and in-house drivers. We have the highest standards of safety and adhere to Sustainable Forestry Practices.
